A shallow insight into the life of Friends(Quakers). Book is full of entries of illness, remedies and treatment, as well as daily life. As it turns out her (Elizabeth Drinker) daughter married an ancestor of mine and they are mentioned many times in this book. It was worth reading the book based on that...for me. Otherwise the reader can become tired of all the entries of illness.as that's what it seems to be in her later years. Also can be confusing as she speaks of many people and several have the same name. A helpful genealogical read for those who may have had ancestors in the Chester, Lancaster and Downingtown, PA area during that period.
